The Salomon Trail Running Festival is returning to Scotland for the third year in a row, and will be taking place in the rolling Pentland Hills just outside of Edinburgh City Centre. After a jam-packed day of trail running activities, you are invited to join us at the Apothecary Bar in Edinburgh from 7.30pm for a Salomon film screening, Q&A with some of our most experienced athletes and music.

On this website you can book onto sessions at the festival and explore the activities, speakers, running coaches and food and drink vendors who will be onsite during the day. What are you waiting for? Escape urban life with us; step off the pavement and into nature.

Guided Run 20km (road pace: 5.5min/km)

Join us for a 20km guided run (approx. 2-2.5hrs) led by one of our Salomon athletes or ambassadors. Guided runs are ideal for anyone wanting to take that first step running off road or for runners simply wanting to experience new trails and enjoy a sociable run in a stunning setting. This guided run will take up to 40 runners and will be led by an experienced run leader as well as a support runner. The running pace for this session is 5.5min/km.

Note: Please book onto a run with a running pace that suits your road running speed. There is a choice of either 7min/km or 5.5min/km for each of the guided runs.

Attendance at one guided run is included in your 10/20km festival ticket fee.
